I started my teaching career in 1990 in Leeds, UK where I worked mainly in inner city schools with bilingual children. In 2003, I moved to North Canterbury, NZ with my husband and three children and continued my teaching in a more rural setting. Throughout my career I have strived to find creative ways to deliver literacy and numeracy to young children.
